Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN Days

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit and perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments. Interpret assessment and diagnostic data including labs and telemetry, ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately, and maintain competence in Rapid Response and code events. Instruct and counsel patients and families while providing timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems. This PRN role at Select Specialty Hospital- Springfield requires a minimum of 4 shifts per 6-week period. Candidates must hold a valid State RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications at hire.
