Job Summary
Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care to admitted units under the direction of nursing leadership. Plan, coordinate, and provide interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization while accessing community resources. Perform assigned duties including Charge Nurse responsibilities, which require ACLS certification. Maintain current RN licensure and BLS certification, with ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment. Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Current BLS certification
- Evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
- Current ACLS certification for Charge Nurses
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
