Job Summary
Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care to individuals admitted to the nursing unit under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse. Utilize the nursing process to plan, coordinate, and provide interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization while accessing community resources. Perform related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities, with ACLS certification required. Maintain current licensure and BLS certification, with ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment. Earn hourly rates between $56 and $58, including up to $7/hr in shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Current BLS certification
- Evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
- Current ACLS certification for Charge Nurses

- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
