Job Summary
Provide nursing care for patients with medical and cardiac diagnoses, including postoperative and PCI-related care; supervise LPNs, CNAs, Techs, unit secretaries, and clinical students; complete assessments, care plans, and documentation; coordinate care, discharge planning, and response to emergencies; promote patient safety, leadership within the care team, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current Kentucky RN license or work permit
- BLS, ACLS, Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia, NIH Stroke Certification, Glucometer Training, 12 Lead Training, Aegis/DY, and Nurse Wound Care certifications may be obtained within post-hire timelines
