Job Summary
Monitor resident conditions, record symptoms, and report changes to physicians. Administer prescribed medications, perform physical assessments, and conduct procedures such as IVs and lab specimen collection. Develop and modify individualized care plans while supervising LPN/CNA/RA staff. Coordinate with healthcare teams, facilitate hospital transfers, and ensure compliance with infection control programs and facility policies. Maintain accurate medical records and charting. Availability required for holidays, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current registration and licensure from the State of Michigan
- Current CPR/First Aid certifications
- Must have ability to operate a computer
- Availability to work holidays, evenings, or weekends
- RN will be on-call to answer concerns from staff and being available to come on-site using judgment to determine when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Six months to one year geriatric experience preferred
- EMR experience preferred
