Job Summary
Deliver nursing care by developing diagnoses, establishing objectives, and defining interventions for patients and their families. Coordinate with physicians and healthcare teams while providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support. Teach self-care skills regarding conditions and medications, then evaluate outcomes against therapeutic standards. Maintain safe environments by adhering to infection-control policies, medication protocols, and controlled substance regulations. Document services in patient records, operate and maintain equipment, manage supplies, and ensure preventive maintenance. Work primarily during days with night, weekend, and holiday on-call involvement, including one night of call per week and one weekend of call every eight weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing
- An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
- The ability to work the hours specified
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- The ability to communicate effectively with others
- The ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years Experience working in a clinical environment
