Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Prep & Recovery in an outpatient setting. Provides clinical direction for patient care, conducts nursing assessments, develops and updates patient plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team, delegates tasks, and ensures safety and quality through adherence to policy, regulatory requirements, and performance improvement processes. Requires an Associate degree in Nursing, RN licensure, and at least 1 year of RN experience; Bachelor's degree preferred. Day shift at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing
- Licensure: RN license recognized by state/NCSBN
- Experience: One (1) year experience as a registered nurse
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- In lieu of experience: Prisma Health Nurse Residency accepted
- In lieu of Associate degree: nursing diploma with RN licensure accepted
- Knowledge/Skills: Basic computer skills
- Knowledge/Skills: Mathematical skills
- Knowledge/Skills: Working knowledge of patient equipment (vitals, suction, defib)
