Job Summary
Perform plan-of-care interventions for Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology patients, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and post-procedure recovery care. Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and families while documenting care accurately. Assist with activities of daily living and provide age-appropriate patient and family education. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate transfers, discharges, and referrals, and advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. Float throughout the building to support departments and staff as needed. This role requires a current Michigan RN license, BLS-HCP, and ACLS certification, with a 0.8 FTE schedule of evening shifts.
Required Qualifications
- current Michigan RN license
- associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year)
- 8 x 8-hour Evening shifts
- 1:00pm - 9:30pm
