Registered Nurse (RN) Preop

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care throughout the perioperative process for preoperative and Phase II postoperative patients. Prepare patients for surgery by verifying documentation, informed consent, and readiness while monitoring status and responding to changes in condition. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered care. Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and post-procedure instructions. Maintain a safe, organized environment by managing supplies, equipment, and regulatory compliance while participating in quality improvement initiatives.
