Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Coronary Care Unit in Lewiston, ME—12-week contract assignment with nights. Delivers safe patient care using the nursing process and provides direct patient care within scope of practice. Educates patients and families, directs nursing support staff, maintains standards of care in the CCU, and communicates clinical changes to physicians (including cardiac monitoring and diagnostics). Responsible for the care of assigned patients, responds promptly to changes in patient condition or treatment response, and adheres to defined standards of care. Requires current RN license, BLS and ACLS upon hire, (BSN preferred), and at least 1 year of Acute Care hospital experience; ventilator management experience preferred. Location options include Lewiston, ME and Augusta, ME with on-site (IN_PERSON) shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation upon hire
- Previous one (1) year of Acute Care hospital experience required
