Job Summary
Provide mentorship, training, and clinical support to newly hired RNs during orientation while accompanying them on home visits to demonstrate best practices. Maintain a small, manageable patient caseload to ensure continuity of care across Wake, Durham, and Johnston counties. Complete accurate documentation on a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet and monitor client conditions, reporting changes to leadership. Collaborate with clinical teams to evaluate progress and execute doctor's orders, including wound care and medication administration. This full-time role requires a current North Carolina RN license with prior home health experience and offers a $5,000 hiring bonus.
Required Qualifications
- A current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
- Prior home health experience
- A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to cases as assigned
Desired Qualifications
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
