Job Summary
Facilitate the transition from OR and PACU to release while monitoring patients as anesthesia wears off. Administer medications as needed and properly communicate post-op care instructions. Utilize appropriate body mechanics when moving patients, stretchers, and OR tables. Assist with sudden changes in patient condition and support anesthesia during intubation and extubation. Requires recent Pre-Op/OR/PACU experience, current PA RN license, BLS, and ACLS. Part-time schedule includes Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and alternating weekends from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in PA
- Recent Pre-Op/OR/PACU experience
- BLS
- ACLS
