Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre-Admissions Testing - St. Rita's Medical Center - PRN

The Operating Room RN provides pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care, collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team, and coordinates the needs of the surgical team. Responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessment, determining patient priorities, implementing nursing interventions for acute/critical patients, and developing care plans to improve outcomes while maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities span pre-op assessment and discharge instructions, with the RN supporting the surgical team to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment. Required credentials include RN licensure in the relevant state; BLS is required and ACLS or PALS are preferred at hire (ACLS/PALS may be required within 6 months depending on department). CNOR and SGNA are preferred but not required. Experience: two years of RN experience in a Critical Care Department is preferred but not required; OR internship training and Peri-op 101 training are also listed as preferred.
