Job Summary
Coordinate and provide preoperative testing and education under the direction of the Clinical Manager/Director. Gather health histories, appropriate orders, results, and medication lists while ensuring nursing care aligns with hospital policies, state practice acts, and professional standards. Requires an active RN license from Kansas, current BLS certification, and at least one year of medical surgical experience. This role supports the pre-admissions testing function at Belton Regional Medical Center, an 80+ bed acute care facility serving southern Jackson and northern Cass counties as part of the HCA Healthcare Midwest Health System.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree
- Must hold a current RN license from the Kansas Board of Nursing or an active compact license
- BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire
- Clinical experience appropriate to area worked
Desired Qualifications
- 1 Year Medical Surgical Experience preferred
