Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Surgical on Acute Care Post-Surgical Unit/Acute Medical Unit (6 East) at MetroHealth; care for post-surgical patients from ~14 service lines including bariatric and gender-affirming recovery, with NG, tracheostomies, chest tubes, wound vacs, drains; strong time management and critical thinking; collaborates with LPNs, PCNAs, Nurse Interns, providers, social workers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Dietitians; 34 bed spaces on unit; rotating shifts 7a-7p/7p-7a with weekends and holidays; sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualifying experience; MetroHealth offers benefits including tuition reimbursement and OPERS retirement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
