Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) - PICU provides high-quality nursing care in the pediatric intensive care unit. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring patient conditions, implementing and evaluating care plans, coordinating with the patient care team, delivering patient and family-centered care, ensuring accurate documentation, and contributing to performance improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes professional growth, mentorship of others, adherence to confidentiality and safety standards, and supporting Shared Governance. Night shift, 36 hours per week, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus available; facility is Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta/Hephzibah, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
- BLS - Instructor
- RN - Multi-state Compact
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license (single state or compact)
- Associates Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- Mastery of professional nursing standards and patient care
