Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) - PHP/IOP supports patients in an outpatient clinic, performing professional nursing activities to help patients achieve personal health goals. Responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, documenting patient data, developing and updating treatment plans, administering medication accurately, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The role requires collaboration with healthcare teams, acting as a patient advocate, and maintaining patient privacy. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred along with a valid nursing license and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
- Registered nurse licensed by State Board of Nursing in the state of employment
- American Health Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification required within thirty (30) days of date-of-hire
- Formal training in management of the aggressive patient required within sixty (60) days of date-of-hire
Desired Qualifications
- Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents, and adults preferred
