Job Summary
Partner with Nursing Assistants to manage a case load, handle admissions and transfers, and perform initial and ongoing patient assessments. Interpret diagnostic data from labs and telemetry, ensure accurate medical order transcription, and document care using EPIC. Provide counseling to patients and families while promoting continuous quality improvement. This role involves working 7AM-7:30PM shifts across Northern locations including Chester, Saddle Brook, and West Orange, with a requirement of four shifts per six-week schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State RN License
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year as a full-time RN in an acute care, med/surg, acute medical rehabilitation or related hospital setting
- Per Diem Requirement: Four (4) shifts per 6-week schedule
- One Saturday or Sunday
- One minor holiday/ major holiday
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or enrollment in BSN program
- Clinical experience
