Job Summary
Conduct Home Care Assessments for new and ongoing cases, develop plans-of-care, and coordinate physician approvals. Supervise, guide, teach, and evaluate Home Health Aide and Personal Care Assistant staff in the field. Deliver pre-service and in-service training, monitor health assessments including drug screens and vaccinations, and conduct clinical competency/skills evaluations. Cover HHA incidents and advise on OSHA and medical issues within the department. Participate in Quality Improvement and Board Meetings. This role supports the training needs of the license home care agency for neurodivergent children and adults. Schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 9am-5pm, 21 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed RN in New York State
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the IDD population, preferred
- Experience as HHA, preferred
- Experience with Staff Training, preferred
