Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Pediatric IV Therapy, PRN in the Augusta/Hephzibah, GA area. Delivers quality nursing care to patients, coordinates care plans with the patient care team, and communicates effectively with families. Responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating patient conditions, delivering care per plan, documenting assessments and care delivered, promoting patient and family-centered care, and supporting performance improvement initiatives. Requires active RN license (single state or compact), BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience; pediatric IV therapy experience is preferred. Day shift; PRN position with Wellstar Health System in Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- RN - Single State or RN-COMPACT
- At least one year of nursing experience required for PRN
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing or Bachelors in Nursing (preferred)
- BLS certification required or equivalent
- RN license (Single State or Compact)
- At least one year of nursing experience
- Pediatric IV therapy experience preferred
- PRN/as-needed roles experience
- Strong patient-care and documentation skills
- Team collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of patient care coordination and safety standards
