Job Summary
Provide competent nursing care to patients and families across all inpatient settings, including surgical, medical, oncology, cardiology, and behavioral health units. Deliver family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team while offering potential for cross-training in procedural units and the Emergency Department. Participate in hospital-wide committees and precept new staff and nursing students. Complete a 12-week orientation with both Float Pool and Unit-Based preceptors. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing, one year of inpatient acute care experience, a current Massachusetts RN license, and flexibility for 50% day/night rotations.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in nursing
- A minimum of 1-year inpatient acute care RN experience
- Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Ability to work 50% Day/Night rotations
- Ability to work every third weekend
- Flexibility of availability
