Job Summary
Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients using the nursing process while supervising and delegating activities to other personnel. Formulate and daily evaluate individualized plans of care, monitoring and communicating patient conditions to the care team, providers, and families. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient transfers, discharges, and referrals, while addressing spiritual and psychosocial support needs. Evaluate learning needs of patients and families to provide age-appropriate education and advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Bachelor's degree
- Current RN to practice in the state of KY
- BCLS within 90 days of hire
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- PALS within 6 months of hire
