Job Summary
Provide competent nursing care to newborns through adults and their families across all inpatient settings, including surgical, medical, oncology, cardiology, and emergency units. Deliver family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team while working in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for cross-training in procedural units and the Emergency Department. Participate in hospital-wide committees and precept new staff and nursing students during a comprehensive 12-week orientation. Work 50% day/night rotations with every third weekend off, requiring flexibility for schedule changes.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in nursing
- A minimum of 1-year inpatient acute care RN experience
- Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Ability to work 50% Day/Night rotations, every third weekend, and flexibility of availability
