Job Summary
ER RN in Pediatric Emergency Department delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assessing patient status, determining priority of problems, implementing clinical nursing interventions, developing and updating care plans, coordinating patient care across departments, administering medications safely, and collaborating with an interprofessional team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Requires current RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS (PALS preferred and ACLS/PALS within 6 months), EPIC EHR familiarity (preferred), and 1 year of nursing experience with ED/CC preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS Basic Life Support and ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support and PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred at hire; ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire)
- Graduate of an accredited Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- 1 year of professional RN experience; recent Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred
