Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric patients from admission through discharge or transfer. Provide expert care and education in the clinical setting while acting as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Manage patient loads within assigned timelines and apply specialized plan-of-care interventions to shape exceptional patient journeys. Utilize knowledge of clinical procedures, disease processes, and pharmacological agents to directly impact patient wellbeing. Requires current state RN license, three to five years of acute pediatric experience, and completion of BLS and PALS certifications. Schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week on the third weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- PALS within six (6) months of hire
- Three to Five years of acute pediatric experience
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Drug and Alcohol Testing
