Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients with Cerebral Palsy and neurological conditions, administering medications and monitoring vital signs. Educate families on care techniques for feeding, mobility, and medical equipment use while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans. Perform routine tasks including managing feeding tubes, assisting with bathing, and maintaining accurate medical records. Maintain active RN licensure in Georgia with one to two years of experience, including CPR and PALS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License in the State of Georgia
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience
Desired Qualifications
- experience in pediatric or neurological care
- Current CPR and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- willingness to obtain PALS certification
- Experience working with children with Cerebral Palsy or similar neurological conditions
- Knowledge of medical equipment commonly used in pediatric care, such as ventilators, feeding pumps, and mobility aids
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
