Job Summary
Coordinate the patient-focused team in the Operating Room, utilizing the nursing process to provide direct and collaborative health care that promotes optimal patient health. Integrate cultural and religious diversity needs while managing case studies to ensure seamless, comprehensive care for individuals and aggregate groups. Facilitate the patient/provider relationship and apply evidence-based practices to improve outcomes. Requires a BSN, current New York State RN license, CNOR certification, and one year of medical/surgical and one year of Operating Room experience. BLS certification is required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current New York State RN License
- CNOR certification
- Minimum of one year practice in a medical/surgical setting
- One year experience in an Operating Room setting
- BLS certification
