Job Summary
Conduct peri-operative or peri-anaesthetics nursing duties across private and public hospital settings within a dual-sector rotation program. Complete 12-month specialty immersion combining theory with hands-on clinical mastery over two six-month rotations at Fitzroy and East Melbourne campuses. Work part-time on an 8-day fortnight schedule with extended supernumerary time for orientation. Submit a cover letter specifying your chosen stream and provide two professional referees for application review.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 12 months' recent acute care surgical experience
- Successful completion of a graduate nurse program
- Compliance with SVHA Staff Health Screening Immunisation Policy (including mandatory immunisations/vaccinations such as flu vaccinations)
