Job Summary
Identify, assess, and monitor patients' health conditions while administering medications and providing treatment according to physician's orders. Monitor blood pressure and chronic conditions, ensure all treatments and medications are fully documented in patients' health records, and serve as the primary source of medical information for patients and caregivers. Provide health education, medication review, healthcare coordination, and specialist referrals to support patient wellness within an integrated, multidisciplinary team. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing, Florida RN licensure, and BLS certification, with a preference for skilled nursing facility experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of science degree (or equivalent) in nursing
- Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be available for night shift
- Must be available for part time schedule
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Ability to communicate in more than one language
