Job Summary
Part-time Registered Nurse position at Blue Ridge Vista Behavioral Health Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Responsibilities include assessing and developing plans of care, monitoring patient conditions, delivering treatment per plans of care, supervising and delegating tasks, orienting families and patients, employing appropriate crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques, and participating in educational in-services and competencies. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Ohio RN license, CPR/Handle With Care certification (will be provided upon hire), strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work in a stressful environment. Preferred psychiatric nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current unencumbered licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
- Positive Attitude
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
- Teamwork, flexibility needed to fulfill job responsibilities, adapting to changes in work environment and accepting supervisory feedback
- Maintain CPR/Handle With Care Certification (will be provided upon hire)
- More than one (1) year of experience in psychiatric nursing. (Preferred)
- Handle with Care and BLS training (Preferred)
