Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients and families by administering prescribed medications, performing general nursing care, and conducting nursing assessments including vitals and health history. Coordinate clinic patient care activities, maintain timely appointment flow, and prepare equipment for procedures and examinations. Document patient conditions and reactions, instruct patients on sample collection, and respond to phone calls with physician input. Educate patients on diagnostic processes and wellness, suggest solutions to care crises, and maintain exam rooms and pathology specimen protocols. Work 72 hours per two weeks as a full-time Registered Nurse eligible for up to $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing
- An active license in the state of practice
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- The ability to communicate effectively with others
- The ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- The ability to work the hours specified
- The ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily
