Job Summary
Manage independent peri-anesthetic care for diverse surgical and procedural patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing post-operative tasks like dressing changes. Rotate through perioperative phases covering Prep & Holding, Phase II, Discharge, and PACU while observing patients for anesthesia effects. Requires BSN or commitment to obtain within three years, current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS certifications within six months. Needs at least two years of experience in Perianesthesia Nursing, Critical Care, or HVIS. Full-time flexible schedule with 72 bi-weekly hours, staggered start times, and on-call rotation including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- BSN requires; or commitment to obtaining within three years of the date of hire
- Current RN licensure
- BLS required
- ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire
- at least 2 years of experience in one of the following areas: Perianesthesia Nursing, Critical Care, or HVIS
