Job Summary
Conduct post-anesthesia care and pre-operative nursing for the outpatient population in a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center. Develop patient care plans using the nursing process to address physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs under Nurse Manager supervision. Apply evidence-based practices aligned with the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Requires current Connecticut RN license, one to two years of relevant experience, and strong leadership skills. First shift, 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Current Connecticut RN License
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Registered Nurse with 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Must be able to multitask
- Leadership skills
- Willingness to take on projects and tasks as determined by the needs of the department
