Job Summary
Conduct post-anesthesia care for patients in the PACU at the West Hartford Surgery Center, managing the outpatient population under Nurse Manager supervision. Utilize evidence-based practices and the nursing process to develop care plans addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs. Collaborate within strong interdisciplinary teams to meet patient and family standards of practice while maintaining a patient-centered model. Requires a current Connecticut RN license with 1-2 years of experience, 36 hours weekly first shift, and leadership skills for project tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Current Connecticut RN License
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Registered Nurse with 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Must be able to multitask
- Leadership skills
- Willingness to take on projects and tasks as determined by the needs of the department
