Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the PACU/post-anesthesia care setting providing ongoing nursing care for surgical patients, monitoring postoperative status, promptly communicating complications to surgeons/anesthesiologists, coordinating patient care with the healthcare team, documenting orders and patient information, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and educating patients and families on post-operative care. Requires active RN license (multistate preferred), BLS and ACLS, associates or bachelor’s degree in nursing, and at least 1 year PACU experience. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Location: Miami, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or bachelor’s required
- Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
- Active Registered Nurse License (multistate license preferred)
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of PACU experience
- English and Spanish bilingual preferred
