Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Full-time evenings (36 hours/week) with shift from 10:30am to 11:00pm. Provides nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; collaborates with the patient care team, documents care activities, and supports patient and family-centered care. Core duties include patient care coordination, advocacy, performance improvement participation, professional development, and compliance with safety and confidentiality standards. Requires nursing licensure, ongoing certifications (BLS required), and alignment with Wellstar’s shared governance and professional standards. Sign-on bonus of $10,000 available.
Required Qualifications
- RN license active upon hire
- BLS certification (Instructor or Basic Life Support) or ARC-BLS
- RN Compact or single-state RN licensure
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN)
- Professional nursing license maintenance and required certifications as stated
