Job Summary
Provide patient care for adult medical patients on the Med Surg 5E unit using the nursing process while maintaining professional accountability. Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, including patient assessment, time management, and complex care coordination for patients with respiratory infections. Requires a current Missouri RN license, accredited nursing degree, and full-time night shift commitment from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri
- Compact licensure in accordance with state board of nursing regulations
