Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Wound Care Clinic

Job Summary

Provide evidence-based clinical care to designated patients in outpatient wound care settings, including assessment, management, and treatment coordination. Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed team members as appropriate. Perform intake and wrap-up functions, with potential advancement to case management. Operate the hyperbaric oxygen chamber as an attendant and control operator under physician direction, utilizing HBO Team Training if required. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy with all patients, families, visitors, and employees. Requires one year of current clinical nursing experience and a valid Compact or state license. Part-time 32-hour schedule with travel to Covington, Ft. Thomas, and Grant clinics.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from accredited School of Nursing
  • Must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence
  • Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed
  • Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses
  • Focus of education promotes nurses' ability to practice in clinical area assigned
  • Able to complete or completion of Undersea Hyperbaric Medicine Society (UHMS) approved HBO Team Training Course
  • Knowledgeable regarding basic wound care principles and practices
  • One year current clinical nursing experience
  • Able to critically think and problem solve in clinical situations
  • First Shift Position requires travel to our Covington, Ft. Thomas, and Grant outpatient clinics

Desired Qualifications

  • Hyperbaric Registered Nurse (HRN) experience
