Job Summary
Registered Nurse in outpatient Recovery Room (PRN) provides clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an outpatient setting, utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation), collaborates with the healthcare team, ensures compliance with licensure and organizational policies, supports discharge planning and patient/family education, and participates in quality improvement and performance improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Education - Associate degree in Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- One (1) year experience as a registered nurse
- RN license in state of practice or multi-state license (NCSBN)
- Certified/licensure requirements per state
- Ability to perform nursing tasks within RN scope of practice
- Knowledge of nursing process and patient safety
