Registered Nurse RN Outpatient Prep and Recovery

Registered Nurse (RN) for Outpatient Prep and Recovery in OLATHE, KS. Responsibilities include evaluating patients prior to surgery, providing patient/family education about procedures and peri-operative care, preparing patients (IV therapy, preoperative medications, site verification), participating in surgical site verification per hospital policy, recognizing/responding to emergencies, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in the operating room. Must maintain nursing processes, monitor patient condition, educate patients/families about medical conditions and follow-up measures, and comply with on-call requirements. ACLS/BLS certifications required within specified timelines; implies a traditional in-person hospital setting with no travel. 1 year of experience preferred.
