Job Summary
Conduct ambulatory care nursing assessments, collect patient and family data, and develop individualized plans for health promotion or malignancy management. Prioritize interventions and implement care plans in partnership with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Perform reevaluations and follow-ups based on patient needs or requests, while revising diagnoses and outcomes using ongoing reassessment data. Provide direct and telephone nursing care, health teaching, and patient advocacy in a fast-paced outpatient gynecology clinic setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Associates Degree in nursing
- Technical diploma in nursing
- Current licensure with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas
- Nurse Licensure Compact
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- 9 months of professional nursing experience
- Verified BSN-equivalency
- Signed agreement (for Associate or Technical diploma candidates)
Desired Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a BSN program
- Currently enrolled in a nursing bridge program working toward an MSN
