Job Summary
Provides clinical direction in an outpatient surgical setting and delivers direct nursing care per established plan of care. Performs nursing assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams, and communicates changes to the care team. Ensures compliance with regulatory and quality improvement standards, supports discharge planning, and applies infection control and safety protocols while utilizing appropriate technology and performance indicators to monitor and improve patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (or nursing diploma with licensure to practice as a registered nurse)
- One (1) year experience as a registered nurse
- Current RN license recognized by applicable nursing compact or state license where practicing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
