Job Summary
Administer culturally sensitive nursing care to assigned patients in the Outpatient Infusion Center, including oncology, blood transfusions, and specialty infusions. Evaluate patient outcomes through nursing-sensitive indicators and participate in unit conferences to drive quality improvement. Provide life-span education, support students and new staff as a preceptor, and float between units for 1:1 patient observation when necessary. Recognize and act immediately on medication variances, adverse reactions, and changes in patient condition. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, two years of chemotherapy infusion experience, ONS certification, and a current NJ RN license. Located in Freehold, NJ, with a competitive hourly range of $44.00 - $74.80.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of chemotherapy infusion and oncology experience
- ONS chemotherapy and biotherapy certification
- Current NJ RN License
- CPR Certification
- ACLS Certification
- CSMC IV Certification
