Job Summary
Perform patient triage and clinical assessments in an outpatient cardiology setting while providing direct care and supporting cardiac monitoring and diagnostic testing. Document patient information accurately in EMR/EHR systems and educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, and cardiac health. Support physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinic areas with a focus on critical care, telemetry, and electrophysiology. Requires an active Alabama RN license, BLS/ACLS certification, and IV skills. Schedule includes Monday–Friday day shifts with no weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Active Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- IV skills
- Minimum 2 years of critical care and/or telemetry nursing experience
- Cardiology and/or electrophysiology (EP) experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and people skills
- Strong time management and ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and dedication to high-quality patient care
- Willingness to travel between Mobile office locations as needed
- Monday–Friday day shift with no weekends
- Location: Fairhope, AL (primarily based in Fairhope office on the campus of Thomas Hospital)
