Job Summary
Remote Registered Nurse (RN) – Orthopedics Nurse Access. Provide telephone or secure-message-based patient assessment, triage, education, and follow-up care in a fully remote setting. Responsibilities include nursing process delivery via telehealth, coordinating referrals to in-person or virtual visits as needed, educating patients about procedures and preventative care, maintaining accurate patient records and communicating results to providers, supporting onboarding and training for remote nursing operations, and collaborating with the care team to deliver safe, high-quality remote patient care. Requires active RN licensure (Georgia Act compliance); BLS certification; ongoing competency development; and ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment with strong communication and technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelor Nursing-Preferred
- RN licensure in good standing (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
- BLS certification or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years direct patient care experience
- Minimum 1 year in physician practice setting in specific specialty area
- Experience with virtual care services (telehealth, triage, remote nursing) preferred
