Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Orthopedic Surgery working nights in an acute inpatient unit. Provides direct, patient-centered care and clinical direction across all aspects of the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge planning. Develops individualized care plans in collaboration with patients/families and the interdisciplinary healthcare team; coordinates care, delegates tasks, and monitors quality and safety. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (TJC, SC DPH, CMS) and the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act; supports cost containment and performance improvement through evidence-based practice and thorough documentation. Requires ADN ( BSN preferred) and RN licensure; 1 year RN experience; weekend/holiday/on-call shifts may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or nursing diploma with RN licensure
- RN license valid in state of work or compact license recognized by NCSBN
