Job Summary
Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient orthopedic setting, fostering patient/family-centered care using evidence-based practices. Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, develop individualized plans of care, and validate goals with patients and the interdisciplinary team. Deliver direct patient care, delegate tasks appropriately, and monitor quality while ensuring compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory requirements. Manage on-call rotation, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing
- One (1) year experience as a registered nurse
- Holds a current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as a RN in the state the team member is working
- Night shift availability
- Weekend work availability
- Holiday work availability
- On-call work availability
- Internal LPN experience (1 year) for internal candidates within the same service line
- Nursing diploma with licensure to practice as a registered nurse
