Registered Nurse (RN), Orthopedic Surgery, Full-Time, Night (Hiring Immediately)

Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient/family-centered care. Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans of care, and monitor patient response to interventions while validating priorities with the healthcare team. Deliver direct care consistent with the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act, delegate tasks appropriately, and ensure continuous quality improvement through performance audits and safety protocol adherence. Manage discharge planning and patient education, incorporating cost containment principles and utilizing appropriate technology. Work night shifts at Blount Memorial Hospital's Orthopedic Surgery department, with potential weekend, holiday, and on-call requirements. Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
