Job Summary
Dynamic Medical Surgical RN to join the Orthopedic team. Provide compassionate care to ill, injured, and recovering adults in a patient-centered care model. Responsibilities include collecting comprehensive data, advocating for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team, analyzing assessment data to determine diagnoses, identifying outcomes and plans individualized to the patient, advocating for patient safety, ensuring effective use of time, supplies, and equipment, and educating patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatments throughout the stay. Requires Florida RN license (or multistate license with 60 days to obtain Florida license), BLS-AHA within 30 days, Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), and 1 year of RN experience in acute care is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
- BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
- Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
- 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
