Job Summary
Registered Nurse RN Orthopedic opening at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. Provide care to ill, injured and recovering adults in a Medical-Surgical/Orthopedic setting within a patient-centered care model. Perform comprehensive data collection, advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team, analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses, identify expected outcomes and plans individualized to the patient, ensure safety, manage resources, and educate patients and families about medications, procedures and treatments throughout the stay. Must hold Florida RN license (or multistate license with relocation plan), maintain BLS, have Nursing Diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), and ideally 1 year of acute care RN experience; NIH Stroke Scale training within 30 days of start date. The role is located at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Kissimmee area with the Winter Haven, FL posting location noted as the operating community. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
- BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
- Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
- 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
